There is a common trait that is shared throughout the leadership team at Avitus Group. They all truly enjoy what they do. Laughter is commonly heard in the offices, on the phone, and at every meeting, meal, or conversation. Naturally, our clients tend to be people that like to laugh while they work too. There are always times when we need to be solemn and serious, but when you love what you do you can’t help but show it.

Arthur L. Geiger

President/CEO

Art Geiger brings over 37 years of business leadership to his role as Chief Executive Officer at Avitus Group. Art also has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Great Falls, MT, and has studied at the University of Wisconsin and Notre Dame.

Art’s heart is our company and the people we serve. “We must give our best” is his motto. Government regulatory changes on both the Federal and State level affect our clients and their employees. Art works closely with our national association to prepare our industry and our company for these changes and the future.

Kenneth L. Balster

VP of Marketing

Ken brings our clients almost 35 years experience in small business, including 14 years as a small business owner and over 7 years in management with the National Federation of Independent Business. Ken joined us in 1997 and over the years, he has served as Department Director, Vice President and Board Member.

Ken’s vision of a sales-driven, customer-oriented organization is rapidly coming true as Avitus Group’s growth continues. Business owners see the difference from the very beginning with an informative introduction followed by professionals who are interested in making sure Avitus is a good fit. Ken inspires his team with a focus on enthusiasm, humility, and the attitude of helping others.

Donald P. Reile

VP of Operations

After 25 years with a nation-wide retail company, 12 in operations and management, Don’s experience has been vital to the Avitus Group service model. Don joined the team in 1999 and oversees all service departments including Human Resources, Safety, Payroll, IT, and Benefits.

Don leads his team with a zeal for service. Don’s ultimate goal is to give the customer an unparalleled experience that blends personal service and enhanced technology. He believes that hard work must be accompanied with a healthy dose of humor and fun if people are to be effective. Don’s talent for organization, planning, coordination, and execution are leading Avitus Group toward an exciting future.

Steven Bentley

VP of Finance

Steve Bentley is the Chief Financial Officer for Avitus Group. Steve holds a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and has over 30 years experience in public and private accounting. Since 1996, Steve has helped keep Avitus Group fiscally healthy through detailed planning.

Steve believes technology is the way to increased customer satisfaction and growth. The desire to turn Avitus Group into one of the top organizations in the country is demonstrated by Steve’s long hours and hard work.
