    • Depending on the type and size of the business, most companies find that it costs less than hiring a part-time or full-time employee. We have had some clients say that when we save them just one bad hire each year, our services are more than paid for.
  • If an employee situation arises and I feel the need for legal advice, should I call my attorney?
    • Since we have attorneys on retainer that specialize in HR law we ask that you call us immediately. There are no additional fees and it is important that the advice also come from attorneys that are familiar with the nuances of the particular state in which the employees are located.
  • I have an office environment and don’t feel the need for safety. Can we opt out?
    • Contact us at info@avitusgroup.com and tell us the details for a firm answer.
  • Do people ever read any of this?
    • I doubt it.
  • I am an employee at a small company with only 12 employees. What can Avitus Group do for me?
    • It is getting more difficult for smaller employers to provide a competitive package of benefits for themselves and the employees. Avitus Group can analyze the situation and suggest several options including some benefits that the employee can choose.
  • I have some employees that do not have bank accounts and are wasting their earnings on fees to cash their check at various places. Can Avitus Group help?
    • We provide a pay card that is simply “loaded” on each payday and the employee can use it as a debit card at any store or get cash from an ATM for no fee.
  • What is the typical business that joins Avitus Group?
    • The typical business is owned by people who know how to delegate and expect it to get done.
  • How do I know Avitus Group is different?
    • The people. While we are not perfect, we love what we do and desire to get better every day. Our service model paired with a pretty funny crew make us different.

    • No. We are privately held.

    • Yes. From time to time we have positions available and we often list them on our website.

    • No. You can however subscribe to our e-newsletter which has up to date information and advice that is free. Sometimes our website features free seminars or trainings.
  • What size business should consider Avitus Group?
    • It ranges from a few employees up to a few hundred, but we seem to excel in serving businesses with multiple locations, retail, restaurants, small to medium manufacturers, medical, and professional.
  • If I join Avitus Group, how long am I obligated to stay on?
    • We generally ask for a 30 day written notice. However, there are circumstances in which a longer commitment makes sense.
